On-Campus Rates & Installments

The rates listed are based on the full academic year, which begins in August and ends in May. Charges are applied to student's accounts in July for the Fall semester and December for the Spring semester. Costs include the $300 Housing Down Payment paid when applying to live on campus.

Billing Statements & Making Payments

Student Billing Statements, known as "eBills," are issued electronically at the beginning of the month. The eBills are emailed to your SSU Email address and a variety of payment options are accepted. Students will receive an email notification to their SSU email address each time an eBill is generated.

The semester charges can be paid in full or in 4 installments starting August 1 for the Fall term and January 1 for the Spring term. There are several different methods for making future housing payments. Please see the How to Make Payments website for more information. Failure to pay the amount on or before the due date will result in action by the University including, but not limited to, eviction, academic holds, payment due in full, and/or late fees.

Included in the total cost is the $300 initial payment, which must be submitted when applying to live on campus. The $300 initial payment is deducted from the total amount due toward your first semester and is not a deposit.

Winter Break (December 14, 2024 - January 17, 2025)

Residents are not contracted to reside on campus between the Fall and Spring terms.

Additionally, residents will be able to reside in their fall accommodation during the break and will not need to relocate to a new building for the break.

More information about this opportunity will be provided to students in the months that come. Students contracted to live on campus for the 2024/2025 academic year can opt into this opportunity.. Please see some important bullet points listed below to assist you in your planning:

  • Residents will be able to extend their housing contract for the following dates: December 14, 2024-December 20, 2024 and January 2, 2025-January 17, 2025

  • December 21, 2024-January 1, 2025 the campus is closed. REACH cannot accommodate residents staying on campus during this time, so please plan accordingly.

  • REACH is able to subsidize the cost for January 2024, so there will be no out of pocket expense for the residents this year.

  • Meal Plans are not active during this time.

  • On-campus dining venues will be limited.
