On-Campus Rates & Installments
Living on campus means choosing one of the most affordable housing options in the California State University (CSU) system. Our academic-year rates are designed to be transparent and predictable, with utilities and key amenities included. Review the information below for rate details, billing schedules, and payment options.
The rates listed are based on the full academic year, which begins in August and ends in May. Charges are applied to student's accounts in July for the Fall semester and December for the Spring semester. Costs include the Housing Down Payment paid when applying to live on campus.
Payment Schedule
The total cost for living on campus is divided evenly throughout each term to create the installment schedule. Installment due dates are 4 payments per semester (8 per year).

On Campus Rates
Costs for Living Communities include the rent/food charge for incoming first year students. Prices are all inclusive and include rent for space in a furnished room/suite from August 19, 2026 - May 21, 2027 (does not include the time between December 19, 2026 and January 21, 2027) all utilities, access to Wi-Fi, and Xfinity TV and DVR style service. Cost is split between Fall and Spring semesters determined by the number of contractual days.
Fall: August 19, 2026 - December 18, 2026; 122 days
Spring: January 23, 2027 - May 21, 2027; 119 days
Charges are applied to student's accounts in July for the Fall semester and December for the Spring semester. Costs include the $100 housing down payment paid when applying to live on campus.
All traditional-age first year students living on campus are required to have a Seawolf All Access meal plan for the duration of their first academic year, regardless of the room assignment location. Seawolf All Access meal plan of $7,066 for the year ($3,625 for fall and $3,441 for spring) is included in the rates below. Please refer to Culinary Services webpage for operating hours and days.

Culinary Services Meal Plan
Meal plans provide opportunities to connect with peers over a fresh cooked meal or give you access to grab a quick bite between classes and meetings. Incoming first-year first-time freshmen are required to participate in the Seawolf All Access meal plan.
- 2026/2027 All Access Meal Plan cost of $7,066 ($3,625 for Fall, $3,441 for Spring) was included in the published 2026/2027 rates.
- 2025/2026 All Access Meal Plan cost of $6,914 ($3,532 for Fall, $3,382 for Spring) was included in the published 2025/2026 rates.
Incoming transfer students, graduates students and continuing SSU students are not required to participate in a meal plan but may purchase a meal plan. Please see the Culinary Services meal plan website for additional information on the All Access Meal Plan for first year students, along with meal plan options for continuing and transfer students.

Dining Dollars
The meal plan includes a designated amount of a declining balance credit for each semester called Dining Dollars. Dining Dollars can be used at any dining location on campus. When making a food purchase, simply present your Seawolf ID Card to the cashier and let them know you would like to pay with Dining Dollars. The amount of your purchase is then deducted from your Dining Dollar balance.
Wolf Bucks
The WolfBucks program is a debit-based card system that virtually eliminates the need to carry cash on campus! Simply deposit funds into your account, and enjoy the convenience of being able to make purchases at participating locations by swiping your Seawolf I.D. card!
Summer Housing Option 2026
Rent pricing is per person/per night and is based on the occupancy of the room. Posted rates are for Summer 2026 and are subject to change for future summers. The Bordeaux building in Beaujolais Village has been designated as the building to house SSU students over the summer. Bordeaux is apartment style accommodation with 4 bedrooms each with a private bathroom in the apartment.

Current Spring Resident
Please plan ahead. Spring 2026 residents will transition to a summer assignment the last week of May. Spring residents living in Bordeaux will also be reassigned to a new apartment for the summer. They will not remain in the same apartment.
Additional information about summer housing and its options will be posted in April. Single rooms are limited and are based on availability.

While residents are not contracted to reside on campus between the Fall and Spring terms, REACH is happy to announce that we are able to accommodate residents during the winter break in 2025/2026. This means, Fall residents continuing as residents on campus for the Spring semester will be able to remain on campus during the winter break (see dates below). Additionally, residents will be able to reside in their fall accommodation during the break and will not need to relocate to a new building for the break.
More information about this opportunity will be provided to students in the months that come. Students contracted to live on campus for the 2026/2027 academic year can opt into this opportunity. Please see some important bullet points listed below to assist you in your planning:
Residents who meet the eligibility to stay over the break will be able to extend their housing contract for the following dates: December dates TBD and January 2, 2027-January 21, 2027.
In the event that REACH cannot accommodate residents after finals, please plan accordingly.
Meal Plans are not active during this time.
On-campus dining venues will be limited.
Billing Statements
Student Billing Statements, known as "eBills," are issued electronically at the beginning of the month. The eBills are emailed to your SSU Email address and a variety of payment options are accepted. Students will receive an email notification to their SSU email address each time an eBill is generated.

How to Make Payments
There are several different methods for making future housing payments listed below.
Note! If you are a parent or guardian, you will not be able to log in to make a payment until your student sets up a Payer Account for you. See the step-by-step process for Payer Guide.
Payments may be made in person at the Seawolf Service Center, 1st floor of Salazar Hall, if using cash, check, or money order.
Make checks payable to Sonoma State University. Write the student’s name and University number on the check. You may also mail in a money order.
The mailing address is Seawolf Service Center, 1801 East Cotati Avenue, Rohnert Park, CA 94928.
To pay online, you must log into SSU Online Services and click on the Payment button.
Payments on student accounts made online by credit or debit card will be charged a 2.65% non-refundable service fee by our third party provider, CASHNet® SmartPay. There are several simple options for students to avoid this fee. Student fees paid by financial aid will not be impacted by this change. For additional information, visit Credit Card Service Fee FAQ. The University accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
You may also pay by eCheck by clicking on the eCheck link and entering the information.
Students are able to give parents or other supporters access to their account information, view/print statements, and make payments or add Wolfbucks. Guest access also allows for billing notification emails to be send directly to the guest email address.
Licensees who are late in payment of any housing rent or food will be assessed a fee of $30 per late payment. Payments received after the 10th of the month are considered late. Three or more late payments may jeopardize your campus housing status. Notification of the late fee will be sent via email to your SSU email account informing you to pay your outstanding balance by a certain date. Unpaid accounts will be forwarded to a collection agency by the University, after numerous attempts of trying to collect the debt. All agency collection fees plus the unpaid debt are the responsibility of the account holder.

My SSU login page for online services, utilizes your Seawolf ID (LDAP), the same User ID and password you use throughout SSU. Click on the "My SSU" button to enter PeopleSoft.
After logging on you will be at your Student Center. Within the Student Center will find your:
- "To Do List"
- "My Account" information
- "View Financial Aid"
If you don't remember your User ID and password, go to the IT Help Desk, Schulz 1000, with a campus or photo ID to have your password reset.
