Outdoor Adventure
For the nature-loving, trail-seeking Seawolf, Outdoor Adventure is tailored to you if you want your experience to include hiking, camping, beach bonfires, and skill-building alongside your academics. Outdoor Adventure combines community life with outdoor experiences you'll never forget.

The Transfer House is a community designed to help new Seawolves transition to life at SSU. The Transfer House provides a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment to help you transition into SSU academically and personally.
In the Transfer House you will find an instant network of peers who understand the challenges and excitement of transitioning to a new college. It is a place where you can make connections, engage in campus life, and prepare for a successful future.

Graduate House is a community designed for graduate students, as well as non-traditionally aged lower division students. Graduate House provides a supportive environment as you embark on your graduate studies at Sonoma State University.
In Graduate House, you will find an instant network of peers who understand the challenges and excitement of post-Bachelor Degree studies. Whether you are a new Seawolf or a returning Seawolf, Graduate House is excited to welcome you!

Affinity & Social Justice
The Nuestra CASA affinity community welcomes students who are interested in developing their knowledge and awareness of Hispanic/Latine ancestry and heritage. Nuestra CASA offers a space for cultural exploration and appreciation, in which students will celebrate the diversity and encourage an understanding of the many traditions, languages, and experiences that make up this group. Nuestra CASA is committed to academic and personal growth, and helps students thrive academically and develop the skills they need to succeed both in college and beyond.
In Spanish, casa means house or home. As an acronym, CASA stands for Cultural Awareness and Student Advancement. Nuestra CASA can be then translated as "Our Cultural Awareness and Student Advancement" or "Our Home."

The Visionaries Inspiring Black Educated Scholars (VIBES) affinity house welcomes students who are interested in expanding and developing consciousness in the area of Black/Pan-African culture. Students will explore their heritage, and history while developing a sense of pride and community. Students will have the opportunity to engage in programming with faculty and their peers that focus on academic success, cultural awareness, and civic engagement

The Outdoor Adventure themed community is designed for adventurers and nature loving students, like you, to develop essential life skills through exciting outdoor activities. You will have the opportunity to join beach bonfires, go hiking and camping, and create unforgettable memories and friendships along the way.
The Outdoor Adventure community merges adventure and academics seamlessly, allowing you to excel in the classroom and in the wild. Whether you are a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or new to exploring the outdoors, the Outdoor Adventure community is your gateway to the ultimate college experience.
